The Administration Division is responsible for the following essential functions:

  • Advise and Recommend solutions to Department Heads, employees and citizens regarding Personnel related issues
  • Administration/Record Keeping Duties
  • Attend Board Meetings (pension meetings, commissioner's meetings, etc.)
  • Auditing and Inspecting Personnel Programs
  • Conduct Investigations
  • Draft Personnel Letters and Memorandums
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Executive Secretary to the Civil Service Board (CSB) (appeals and grievances)
  • Personnel Policies
  • Prepares responses to Open Records requests
  • Recommend Discipline and/or Discharge
  • Respond to Legal Charges and Claims
  • Standard Operations Procedures
