Flint River Boys & Girls Club to host Inaugural Fundraiser Gala

(Clayton County, GA) – The Flint River Community Center Boys & Girls Club, in partnership with Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, host the inaugural “An Evening with Champions” Gala on Sat., Mar. 2, 2024, at 6 p.m., at the Flint River Community Center, 153 Flint River Rd., Riverdale, GA 30274. It is a scholarship fundraising gala in celebration and honor of the Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year.

The Boys & Girls Club is dedicated to ignite the unlimited potential of kids and teens by creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments. Each year Boys & Girls Club participants take part in character and leadership programs such as Youth of the Year. Elias D. is the 2023 Boys & Girls Club of America’s Georgia State Youth of the Year representing Flint River Boys & Girls Club, Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, and Boys & Girls Club of GA. Senior Jayla L. and 8th grade Tiana L. currently represent the Flint River Boys & Girls Club as the 2023 Youth of the Year and 2023 Jr. Youth of the Year.

All proceeds from this fundraiser gala will go to the Flint River Boys & Girls Club to provide scholarships and opportunities for Boys and Girls Club kids to ensure the success of Flint River youth.
