Clayton County Senior Services Hosts 2-Day Mayfest Celebration

(Clayton County, GA) – Join Clayton County Senior Services for Mayfest: Glow Beyond Limits, its first-ever-2-day celebration on Fri., May 3, 2024, 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. and Sat., May 4, 2024, 3 p.m.- 9 p.m. at Clayton County International Park, 2300 Highway 138, Jonesboro, Ga 30236. This #Claytonconnected event promises to be a weekend full of joy, camaraderie, and memorable experiences tailored specifically to seniors 55 and older.

“We’re thrilled to announce the expansion of Mayfest to two days exclusively for senior 55 and older,” said Tori Strawter-Tanks, Senior Services Director. “This expansion reflects our commitment to providing our seniors with a dedicated space to celebrate, connect, and enjoy the festivities in a welcoming and inclusive environment”.

Mayfest is a health and fitness event designed to celebrate and promote wellness for Clayton County seniors. The expansion of this signature celebration in honor of Older Americans Month marks an exciting milestone. Mayfest: Glow Beyond Limits will be hosted by DJ Youngblood and feature performances by Planet Allstarz featuring Jimmy Brown of Brick and Bigg Robb. Participants will enjoy live music, stage, performances, fireworks, and more.
