Board of Assessors Meeting

The Clayton County Board of Tax Assessors conducts its meeting on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. The Work Session shall start thirty minutes prior to the Regular Business Meeting. Meetings are open to the public. Scheduling of the above meeting will be posted at least 24 hours in advance.

Clayton County TEEN C.E.R.T. for High School students

Participants will meet every Tuesday and Thursday of each week from 9am – 12pm Students will learn about disaster preparedness, fire safety, first aide, light search & rescue, and terrorism. Personal Responsibility Education Program (P.R.E.P.) for High School students

Georgia PREP is a state administered federally funded initiative designed to educate youth between the ages of 11 and 19 on both abstinence and contraception for the prevention of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, and promotion of three adulthood preparation education subjects (Healthy relationships, Healthy Life Skills and Adolescent Development). The goal of PREP is to reduce the occurrence of pregnancy, HIV and STIs among high priority youth. Go to Office of Youth Services page for more information.

The regular monthly meeting of the Clayton County Board of Ethics has been rescheduled from Monday, June 18, 2018 to Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 6 o’clock p.m. The meeting will be held in Conference Room II of the Clayton County Administrative Building, located at 112 Smith Street, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236.

Regularly scheduled meeting on the first and third Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 pm, unless postponed to a subsequent date by action taken at a regular meeting. Meetings are open to the public. Meetings shall be open to the public. The Board of Commissioners may also hold such additional meetings as shall be necessary.
