We participate in this run on an annual basis and through our partnership with the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) and Special Olympics, we provide opportunities for athletes to empower and transform themselves, their communities and the world. As a fundraising effort, we are selling LETR shirts ($15) and hats ($15). For purchases, you may contact Sgt. The run will be held on May 9, 2018 and will start at 9am at CCPD Headquarters. We will run a 5k route which will take us into the Clayton County International Park.

The Clayton County Board of Tax Assessors conducts its meeting on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. The Work Session shall start thirty minutes prior to the Regular Business Meeting. Meetings are open to the public. Scheduling of the above meeting will be posted at least 24 hours in advance.

Upon completion of review of eligible applicants, an interview will be conducted via the 2017-18 Youth Commission. Go to Office of Youth Services page for more information.

On May 12, 2018, the Clayton County Police Department Community Affairs Unit will be hosting the “Strike Out Cancer” Charity Softball Tournament at the Lovejoy Softball Complex in Hampton in honor of Mrs. Shannon Buice (Ofc. Buice’s wife). Shannon Buice was recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and all proceeds collected from this event will be donated to the Buice family to assist with Shannon’s treatment and recovery. Please join us in our show of support to our brother and sister as they embark upon the journey of Shannon’s treatment and healing.
