CCPD “STRIKE OUT CANCER” Charity Softball Tournament

On May 12, 2018, the Clayton County Police Department Community Affairs Unit will be hosting the “Strike Out Cancer” Charity Softball Tournament at the Lovejoy Softball Complex in Hampton in honor of Mrs. Shannon Buice (Ofc. Buice’s wife). Shannon Buice was recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and all proceeds collected from this event will be donated to the Buice family to assist with Shannon’s treatment and recovery. Please join us in our show of support to our brother and sister as they embark upon the journey of Shannon’s treatment and healing. Public Notice Budget Hearing

CLAYTON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS PUBLIC NOTICE BUDGET HEARING The Clayton County Board of Commissioners will hold a Budget Hearing on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. for all interested citizens of Clayton County. The meeting will be held in the Commissioners’ Board Room, 112 Smith Street, Jonesboro, Georgia. The proposed FY 2019 budget will be presented. The proposed budget may be examined weekdays beginning May 8th, 2018 at the Forest Park Library, 4812 West Street Forest Park, Georgia, Jonesboro Library, 124 Smith Street, Jonesboro, Georgia, at the Headquarters Library, 856 Battlecreek Road, Jonesboro, Georgia, at the Lovejoy Library, 1721 McDonough Road, Hampton, Georgia, at the Morrow Library, 6225 Maddox Rd, Morrow, Georgia and at the Riverdale Library, 420 Valley Hill Road SW, Jonesboro, Georgia during regular library hours. The proposed budget may also be viewed online at www.claytoncountyga.gov under the Finance Department. All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written and oral comments. Citizens are encouraged to attend and comment.

Regularly scheduled meeting on the first and third Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 pm, unless postponed to a subsequent date by action taken at a regular meeting. Meetings are open to the public. Meetings shall be open to the public. The Board of Commissioners may also hold such additional meetings as shall be necessary. Whenever any regular meeting of the Board shall fall on a holiday, the meeting shall be held on the following day.
