Meetings shall be open to the public. The Board of Commissioners may also hold such additional meetings as shall be necessary. Whenever any regular meeting of the Board shall fall on a holiday, the meeting shall be held on the following day. All zoning meetings shall be conducted at night beginning at 7:00 p.m. ZONING MEETINGS: The Board of Commissioners shall consider zoning matters as part of the Board’s Agenda of its regular meeting held on the third Tuesday of each month. The Clayton County Tax Commissioner's Office is hosting Coats for Christmas. Warm hearts, minds, bodies, and souls by helping reach the goal. Pick up coats (while supplies last) at the Clayton County Tax Commissioner's Office 121 South McDonough St., Annex 3, Jonesboro, GA 30236. Donations will be collected until Monday, December 20, 2021. The State of Georgia Department of Motor Vehicles will undergo an upgrade to the DRIVES system December 30, 2021- January 3, 2022. The upgrade will require vehicle registrations and titling services, including e-Services and tag renewal kiosks, to be unavailable Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 7 pm through Monday, January 3, 2022. Vehicle owners with expiration dates in late December and early January are encouraged to renew prior to December 30, 2021 at 7 pm to avoid delays.
